Pittsburgh, Pa. – Duquesne University head women's golf coach
Colleen Meyers announced the addition of a pair of student-athletes as part of the Class of 2025, as joining the Dukes for the 2025-26 season are Ashley von Behren and Lilly Powell.

Notes: Qualified for state championships each of her four years at South Brunswick under head coach Jeff Register … Claimed a runner-up finish at regional championship … Garnered all-conference first team accolades each of her four years … Member of National Honor Society and National Technical Honors Society … Member of First Tee Coastal Carolinas … Daughter of Jenny and Adam Powell … Born in St. Louis, Mo. … Has a younger brother, Connor … Grew up an avid skier … Also competed in soccer and track & field as a prep student-athlete.

Meyers, in her first year leading Duquesne in 2024-25 after being named the first head coach in program history in August of 2023, guided the Dukes through their first fall campaign in 2024. At the conclusion of each of its four events, a student-athlete for Duquesne was named the Atlantic 10 Rookie of the Week. Freshman

Lindsey Powanda was bestowed Atlantic 10 Rookie of the Week in
the final weekly awards of the fall campaign.
Duquesne will open its championship season in February with the Columbia Classic, which takes place in Melbourne, Fla., at Duran Golf Club. Competition is set for Saturday, Feb. 8, and Sunday, Feb. 9, and is the first of four tournaments in the spring for the Dukes.
