Sasha Petrochko of the Duquesne University women's golf team was named to the 2026 Atlantic 10 All-Conference Team Friday. It marks her second consecutive all-conference honor.
Overall during the 2025-26 campaign, Petrochko led the Dukes with an average score of 76.1, amassing 1,675 strokes in 22 rounds. Her best performance in a 54-hole tournament came in the fall when she fired a 214 at the Nittany Lion Invitational in late September on the Penn State Blue Course. She opened with a 70 (-2) in the first round and matched that in the second round before wrapping up the competition with a 74 (+2) in round three. In handing in a 214 (-2), Petrochko posted the first tournament under par in program history and finished third individually.
Petrochko matched her best score over the course of 54 holes at the Space Coast Classic, presented by MoonGolf, in Melbourne, Fla., in February. She opened with a 70 (-2) at Duran Golf Club before handing in a 73 (+1) in the second round. Petrochko closed the tournament with a 71 (-1) to again finish two under for the tournament. At the Space Coast Classic she tied for sixth individually with Mi Li of Penn.
At the 2026 Atlantic 10 Championship in Orlando, Fla., at Evermore Resort, Petrochko finished 16th individually with a 244 over the course of 54 holes. She paced Duquesne in the tournament with five birdies and also averaged 3.42 on a par three in the final tournament of the year.
A two-time Atlantic 10 Golfer of the Week throughout the 2025-26 campaign, Petrochko has been honored with eight weekly honors from the conference office through her first two years on the Bluff. A three-time A-10 Golfer of the Week during her career, she was also a five-time A-10 Rookie of the Week during her first season at the NCAA Division I level in 2024-25.
Petrochko has played every round of every tournament for Duquesne in the program's first two seasons, a total of 42 rounds, and owns a career scoring average of 76.0. According to Scoreboard, powered by Clippd, Petrochko
ranks No. 712 out of 1,641 ranked golfers in NCAA Division I this season with an adjusted scoring average of 76.6 and average weighted points of 12.56. Her performances at the Nittany Lion Invitational (28.50) and Space Coast Classic (27.46) were the best of Petrochko's career according to weighted points.
