Colleen Meyers

Colleen Meyers was named the first coach in Duquesne women's golf history in August of 2023.

Meyers spent two seasons as an assistant coach for both the men's and women's teams at Carnegie Mellon, one of the top teams in Division III, and has served as the head coach at Oakland Catholic High School since the spring of 2015.

In the spring of 2023, Meyers helped lead the Tartans men's team to the first NCAA team title in CMU athletics history. The year prior, the CMU men took sixth at the national tournament. On the women's side, CMU placed fourth at the NCAA championships during each of Meyers' two seasons on the staff.

Meyers is a successful amateur golfer with multiple tournament titles, including the women's club championship at Oakmont Country Club in 2020, the 2021 WPGA Senior Amateur Championship, and Oakmont's senior women's club championship three times (2020, '21, and '23).

A former communications contact for Allegheny General Hospital, Meyers has four children including twins Jess and Jimmy, who competed at the Division I level. Jess is a recent graduate of Notre Dame and Jimmy is set to enter his fifth season at Penn State as a graduate student pursuing a Mater of Finance degree.

Coach Meyers is an accomplished and passionate coach dedicated to creating a positive team environment. She begins recruiting for the first-ever Duquesne women's golf team immediately and is on the search for a talented group of golfers who share her passion for the sport and have a desire to make history at DU. Meyers is eager and determined to build a strong program that will make an immediate mark in the Atlantic 10 conference.
