Duquesne Athletics Hall of Fame

Established in 1963, the Duquesne University Athletics Hall of Fame honors the student-athletes, coaches, administrators, and contributors who have shaped the proud tradition of Duquesne Athletics.

Our History

The inaugural class of the Duquesne Athletics Hall of Fame included basketball standout Paul Birch, legendary head coaches Charles “Chick” Davies (men’s basketball) and Aldo “Buff” Donelli (football), and football standouts Rev. Silas “Dan” Rooney and Samuel “Sammy” Weiss.

Today, nearly 300 individuals who have contributed to the excellence of Duquesne Athletics are honored in the Hall of Fame.
