Located within the Duquesne Towers Living and Learning Center on campus, Towers Pool serves as the home training and competition facility for Duquesne’s swimming and diving program, which captured back-to-back Atlantic 10 Conference championships in 2018 and 2019.
In the summer of 2022, Towers Pool underwent a $2.5 million renovation, featuring upgrades to enhance the facility for student-athletes, coaches and spectators. Improvements included a high-definition video board, sound system, new lane lines and starting blocks, an updated record board, skylights and windows, an upgraded HVAC system with a large circulating fan, new bleachers, a renovated pool deck, noise-reduction panels and fresh paint.
The facility features a six-lane, 25-yard competition pool equipped with a Daktronics touchpad timing and scoring system, along with locker rooms and spectator seating. Designed to accommodate daily training, collegiate competition and recreational use, Towers Pool provides a convenient on-campus venue for Duquesne’s swimming and diving and triathlon programs, as well as the university’s club swimming team.
