- The Duquesne University women's golf team heads to Orlando, Fla., to take part in the 2026 Atlantic 10 Championship, its second conference championship in program history. Action begins Monday, April 20, from the Cypress Course at Evermore Resort at 7:30 a.m. and concludes Wednesday, April 22.

- The Dukes wrapped up their regular season by finishing sixth out of 11 teams at the Bermuda Triangle Collegiate at Port Royal Golf Course in Southampton Parish, Bermuda. The Dukes carded a 965 (327-319-319) over the course of 54 holes in a tournament hosted by Lehigh.

- Leading Duquesne individually at the Bermuda Triangle Collegiate was sophomore Sasha Petrochko, who closed in a three-way tie for 21st with Izzy Hassebrock of Idaho State and Sienna Mosquera of Lehigh with a 54-hole score of 239. Petrochko, who earned a team-high 26 pars over the course of the tournament, opened with an 83 before handing in a 78 in both the second and third rounds.

- Sophomore Sasha Petrochko finished two-under par at the Space Coast Classic for the Dukes to open the spring campaign, becoming the first student-athlete in program history to conclude a tournament under par. She fired a 214 (-2), opening with a 70 (-2) before handing in a 73 (+1) in the second round. Petrochko closed the tournament with a 71 (-1) and tied for sixth individually with Mi Li of Penn.

- Thanks to her performance at the Space Coast Classic, presented by MoonGolf, Petrochko earned her second Atlantic 10 Golfer of the Week nod of the 2025-26 season as well as third of her career. Entering the 2026 Atlantic 10 Championship, Petrochko owns an average round of 75.3, tops for the Dukes.

- Petrochko was also named A-10 Golfer of the Week last fall after tying for first at the Red Flash Invitational. In 36 holes of the tournament at Sunnehanna Country Club, Petrochko posted a 74 (+2) in each of the two rounds to finish at 148 and finish in a tie atop the leaderboard with Victoriah Kuranga of Towson. Kuranga would claim medalist honors at the tournament after winning on the third playoff hole.

- Freshman Lilly Powell collected her first career finish in the top 10 as part of the Red Flash Invitational, closing in a tie for eighth with a 153 (79, 74) with four other student-athletes. Combined, Petrochko (7) and Powell (4) posted seven birdies over the two days of action.

- Petrochko also garnered the top finish when Duquesne wrapped its 2025 fall schedule at the Lehigh Invitational, handing in a 154 (77, 77) to close in a three-way tied for 12th with Maggie Ni (78, 76) of Penn and Una Johnson (79, 75) of Navy, who was playing as an individual. The trio finished just a stroke shy of the top 10.

- In 15 career tournaments on the Bluff, sophomore Sasha Petrochko owns nine finishes in the top 10, including four in the top five.

- Duquesne established program standards in its second season of NCAA Division I competition last fall in both a 36-hole and 54-hole tournament. The 620 at the Red Flash Invitational is the best score for the Dukes in a 36-hole event, while at the Bucknell Fall Invitational to open the year Duquesne handed in a 929 over 54 holes.

- The Dukes return each of their top six golfers from their inaugural NCAA Division I season, including sophomore Sasha Petrochko. Named to the 2025 Atlantic 10 All-Conference First Team during her rookie campaign, Petrochko led Duquesne with a stroke average of 75.9.

- Petrochko was named Atlantic 10 Rookie of the Week five times during the 2024-25 season, the most of any student-athlete in the conference. She produced six top 10 finishes in eight tournaments. Of Petrochko's six top 10 finishes last season, two came in the top five, including medalist honors at the Red Flash Invitational with a 36-hole score of 148 (78, 70).

- Also earning an Atlantic 10 Rookie of the Week nod for the Dukes during the 2024-25 season was senior Lindsey Powanda, who closed at 230 at the UNCG Collegiate in Greensboro, N.C., at Forest Oaks Country Club to finish in a tie for 28th individually. Powanda finished second for Duquesne last season with an average round of 79.3.

- Duquesne added two recruits to its roster for 2025-26, as Ashley von Behren and Powell joined the Dukes this season. von Behren, a native of Eagle, Idaho, is two-time Idaho state champion, while Powell, a native of Southport, N.C., qualified for the state championship in each of her four years at South Brunswick High School.

- In her second season as head coach at Duquesne is Colleen Meyers, who was selected to lead the program in August of 2023. She spent two seasons as an assistant coach with Carnegie Mellon from 2021 to 2023 and also was the head coach at Oakland Catholic High School from 2015 to 2023.

- Women's golf was added in April of 2022 at Duquesne along with triathlon and acrobatics & tumbling. Triathlon made its debut during the 2023-24 season and is in its third season, while both women's golf and acrobatics & tumbling are in its second season of competition, respectively, in 2025-26.

- Sewickley Heights Golf Club serves as the home of Duquesne golf. Founded in 1961, the course is used for practice for the program and has also hosted the United States Women's Amateur in 1966 and the Champion's Pittsburgh Senior Classic in 1998.
