Pittsburgh, Pa. – The Duquesne University women's golf team continued action in its first Atlantic 10 Championship Friday, posting a 321 (+33) in the second round. The Dukes remain in fourth place in Orlando, Fla., at Evermore Resort with a score of 647 (+71).
TEAM LEADERBOARD
Loyola Chicago closed at 312 in the second round Friday and held onto the top spot at 616 (+40), which is five strokes ahead of Richmond. The Spiders recorded the best round of the day at Cypress Course, which owns a par of 72 and plays at 6,001 yards, with a 304 and sits at 621 (+45). Dayton is just two strokes behind Richmond after carding a 310 Friday and owns a 623 (+47). Trailing the Dukes and rounding out the field is La Salle (695) and Saint Joseph's (825).

Making the biggest leap for Duquesne in the second round Friday was freshman
Sasha Petrochko, who shaved five strokes off her score from the opening round to hand in a 75. She sits at 155 (+11) and is tied for seventh individually with both Maya Beasley of Richmond and Megan Yoder of Dayton, with the pair each shooting a 76 Friday. Cate Reisigner remains the top individual at the 2025 Atlantic 10 Championship after also carding a 76 Friday, as she owns a 148 (+4) after two rounds. Petrochko, who tallied three birdies and nine pars in the second round, is just three strokes behind second place, which is held by Jenna Harter of Dayton.

Lindsey Powanda is one of four student-athletes with a trio of birdies to sit in a tie for seventh among the field, while Powanda is even on a par three through two rounds when playing a par three. That tops the field along with Psuik. Powanda added a birdie to her tally Friday and closed at 80. She is currently tied for 11th individually with Grace Durkin of Loyola Chicago at 160.

Freshman
Abby Slankster closed with an 85 in round two Friday for the Dukes and ranks 16th overall heading into Saturday's final round at 162. Freshman
Katie Fodale, meanwhile, shaved seven strokes off her score in the second round and closed at 81 to sit at 169 overall, while rookie
Katie Caryl matched her 88 from round one and sits at 176.
