Box Score Pittsburgh, Pa. – The Duquesne University men's tennis team opened a two-match homestand on Friday night, dropping a 4-3 battle to Binghamton in non-conference action at the Alpha Tennis and Fitness of Pittsburgh. With the slip, the Dukes fall to 6-8 this spring.
In doubles competition, the Bearcats captured wins at the first and second spot to take the opening point. In the first slot, seniors

Tamirlan Teberikov fell by a 6-4 count to William Binni and Ronin Lotlikar. Graduate student

Bode Vance dropped a 6-3 decision to Andrew Fang and Filipe Costa as sophomores
Keita Duclos and
Alfrendo Vogelaar secured a 6-2 win over Matt Carlson and Zubin Omar at the final doubles.
It was an even battle in singles play as the two squads split the six matches. Marshall secured the fist win for Duquesne at the number one spot, grabbing a 6-4, 3-6, 6-2 win over Binnie. Teberikov fell by a 7-6 (3), 6-1 count to Costa at the second spot as Duclos dropped a 7-5, 7-5 to Lotlikar at third singles. Vogelaar secured a 6-4, 7-5 victory over Omar before Dassanayake tallied a 6-2, 4-6, 6-4 win over Fang as Vance dropped a 7-6 (5), 6-4 loss to Ajed in the final slot.
