Box Score ORLANDO, Fla - The Duquesne men's tennis team earned a 4-0 win over Fordham in the opening round of the Atlantic 10 Championships held at the USTA National Campus Thursday morning.

Duquesne won the double points by capturing wins at the No. 2 and No. 3 courts. The duo of Jin Dassanayake and Joey Matthews defeated Toi Kobayashi and Jofre Segarra 6-4 at No. 2. Liam Wickwire and Tamirlan Teberikov then secured the doubles point for the Dukes with a 7-5 win over Juan Paredes and Nicholas Kanazirev at No. 3. 

Duquesne closed out the win with a trio of singles victories, starting with Joey Matthews 6-1, 7-6(5) win over Jofre Segarra at No. 6. Alex Mascioli followed with a victory at No. 2 singles 6-2, 7-5 over Giorgio Soemarno. Jin Dassanayake then earned a win at No.5 4-6, 6-3, 6-0 against Nicholas Kanazirev. 

The Dukes will take on No. 2 seed Saint Joseph's in a quarterfinal match on Friday, April 29 at 11:30 a.m.
