ANNAPOLIS, Md. – The Duquesne men's tennis team wrapped up the fall season at the ITA Regional hosted by the U.S. Naval Academy this past weekend.

Kaipo Marshall led the Dukes with a run to the round of 16. He opened play with a 7-6 (6), 6-1 win over Navy's Nicholas Nguyen, before posting a 7-6 (6), 6-7 (1), 6-1 win over Matisse Bobichon of VCU to advance to the play on Friday.

Marshall's run came to an end with a loss to Penn State's Chikaya Sato in three sets, 6-1, 2-6, 6-2.

Marshall was one of five Dukes to compete in singles play at the regional event.
Alejandro Rodriguez-Vidal,
Alex Mascioli and
Jin Dassanayake each won their opening round match, before falling in the second round.

In doubles play, Rodriguez-Vidal and
Tamirlan Teberikov teamed up on Thursday to post an 8-2 win in the first round of play, before dropping their second round match on Friday, 8-3.

The Dukes will now turn their attention to the spring season, which will feature a return to a full Atlantic 10 schedule.
