ORLANDO - The Duquesne men's and women's tennis teams are slated to compete at the 2019 Atlantic 10 Championships this week at the United States Tennis Association (USTA) National Campus in Orlando, Fla. The women's championship gets underway on Wednesday, April 24 with the men's championship beginning on Thursday, April 25.

The DU women earned the No. 4 seed for the championship after posting a 14-6 ledger in dual action, including a 6-1 mark against A-10 competition. The Dukes are riding a seven-match winning streak into the tournament, with five of those wins coming against teams from the conference. The Dukes will face No. 13 seed St. Bonaventure in the first round on Wednesday at 9 a.m. ET. Duquesne defeated the Bonnies by a score of 6-1 on March 30 in Olean, N.Y. The winner of the DU-St. Bonaventure matchup will battle the winner of No. 5 Davidson and No. 12 Saint Joseph's on Thursday.

Julianne Herman paces the Dukes with a 16-2 mark at the top singles position in dual matches this season to go with a 15-5 mark in doubles play.

The Dukes men come into the championship as the No. 8 seed and will take on No. 9 Saint Joseph's on Thursday at 9 a.m. ET. Duquesne has compiled a 12-10 overall mark in dual contests this season with a 4-4 mark against the A-10. The Dukes topped the Hawks 4-3 on April 12. The winner of that matchup moves on to take on top-seeded VCU on Friday.

Jared Isaacs is 16-4 in singles competition in dual matches on the year while posting a 15-5 ledger in doubles action.
