The Duquesne men's tennis team improved to 8-6 on the season after defeating Howard 5-2 on Thursday afternoon.

HOW IT HAPPENED
Duquesne swept the doubles point with the team of Andrew Ong and Dominic Lea taking #1 7-5. Adam Blasinsky & Dane Bendel were 6-3 winners at #2. Jared Isaacs and Tim Kane pitched a shutout at #3 6-0.

In singles, the Dukes won four of the six matches, all in straight sets. Kane at #2 by the score of 6-2, 6-0. Isaacs took the #4 match 6-0, 6-2. Lea was dominant at #5, winning 6-0, 6-1. Ong was a 6-2, 6-2 winner at #6.

Blasinsky dropped a hard-fought match at #1 7-6 (7-3), 2-6, 10-3. Chris Corrao also fell in a breaker at #3, 4-6, 7-6 (7-2), 10-3.
