The men's tennis split their two matches on this past weekend, falling to Buffalo 6-1 before a hard-fought victory over Detroit 4-3.

HOW IT HAPPENED
Against the Bulls, Jared Isaacs recorded the lone point for the Dukes with a straight set win 6-2, 6-3 at #3 singles.

On Sunday against the Titans, Duquesne dominated the doubles point. Andrew Ong and Dominic Lea were 6-3 winners at #1, Isaacs and Tim Kane took the #3 spot 6-1. The #2 doubles match was unfinished after the point was clinched.

The singles matches were all close, with four of the six going into three sets. After dropping the first set 6-4, Adam Blasinsky fought back to take the next two sets 6-4, 6-4 at #1. Ong was a straight set winner at #6, 6-2, 6-2. The clincher was Isaacs -- who fought off six match points - at #4, with a 6-3, 5-7, 7-6 (11-9) victory.

STAT OF THE WEEKEND
Isaacs finished the weekend 3-1.
