Olean, N.Y. -- The Duquesne men's tennis team recorded its second Atlantic 10 Conference victory of the season, defeating St. Bonaventure 4-3 on Sunday at the SBU Activity Center.
The Dukes took two of the three doubles points, with the teams of Drew Akins, Chris Corrao (7-6) and Tim Kane, Jared Isaacs (6-3) recording wins.
In singles competition, St. Bonaventure's Victor Blanco would win the #1 (6-2, 4-6, 6-4) in a tie-breaker with Dimitris Stavropoulos, and SBU would go on to take the #2 (7-6, 7-6).
The Dukes had victories at the #3 and #4, with Kane (6-7, 7-5, 6-0) and Isaacs (6-3, 6-2) each winning their sets.
Bonaventure's win at the #5 tied the match at 3-3, however Corrao (6-3, 7-5) would take the #6 to seal Duquesne's 4-3 victory.
UP NEXT: The Dukes (6-8, 2-2 A-10) head to Fairfax, Va. to face another A-10 opponent in George Mason (6-5, 0-2 A-10) on Friday at 3 p.m.
