Red and Blue Fall at Niagara, 4-3

Duquesne's men's tennis team wrapped up its 2011-12 regular season with a 4-3 loss at Niagara Friday evening.

The Dukes, who fell to 13-8 on the season, captured the doubles point to start the match, but were only able to win two of the six singles matches.

Pete Carpenter and Alex Aleman combined to win 8-5 at second doubles while Rich Robbie and Ben Klaas were 8-5 winners at number three doubles.

Aram Abgaryan was victorious at number one singles by a score of 6-1, 6-2 while Robbie claimed a 5-7, 6-3, 7-5 win at third singles.

The Dukes will try to regroup as they head to Ohio for the Atlantic 10 Championship to be held April 13-15. The seeds and bracket will be released on April 10.
