Duquesne's men's tennis team wrapped up its regular season over the weekend by defeating visiting Dayton, 7-0 on Friday and visiting Saint Joseph's, 7-0 on Senior Day on Sunday.
Steve Herchko, Max Rubin and Pete Carpenter each won all four of their matches while Herchko and fellow seniors Kyle O'Leary and Mikhael Rasner were each able to secure wins in their final home singles matches.
"It was a great coming away with two conference wins this weekend," said head coach Rob Castille. "I thought the guys played well and we hope to carry some momentum into the A-10 tournament next weekend. Sunday's win was particularly special as it was senior day. I can't thank my three seniors enough for all they have given to this program. They will be greatly missed."
The Dukes await their seed for the 2011 Atlantic 10 Championship to be played April 15-17 in St. Louis, Mo.
