Duquesne's men's tennis team fell to visiting Cleveland State, 4-3 Friday afternoon at The Club Sport and Health.

Playing with just five players due to injuries, the Dukes managed wins at second doubles and numbers one, four and five singles, but had to forfeit number three doubles and number six singles.

Capturing wins for the Red and Blue were Aram Abgaryan at first singles, Max Rubin and number four and Steve Herchko at number five. Abgaryan and Rubin combined for the doubles win.

"We lost to a very good Cleveland State team tonight who played the big points better then we did" said coach Rob Castille. "I think we will look back at the end of the year to this match as a pivitol point in our season. The team learned some important things tonight that I am confident we will use moving forward. We'll use this next week to work on several things as well as to get guys healthy and back in the lineup."

The Dukes will take some time off for spring break and return to action on Saturday, March 12 as they travel to Wright State for a 3:00 pm match.
