Niagara Results / Bucknell Results

Duquesne's men's tennis team won both of its home weekend matches, shutting out Niagara, 7-0 on Friday and blanking Bucknell, 7-0 on Saturday.

The Dukes won 11 of its 12 singles matches in straight sets and won all six doubles contests as well.

"The team really competed well this weekend," said head coach Rob Castille. "We played two quality teams that we knew could give us trouble if we weren't sharp and on top of our games. Everyone came out focused and with a lot of energy and we got the results we were looking for. We plan to work hard this week and be ready to play a good Colgate team next Friday."

The Red and Blue return to action on Friday, Feb. 11 as they travel to Colgate for a 4:00 pm match.
