Dukes Win Two A-10 Matches in Philly

Duquesne's men's tennis team captured to victories in Philadelphia over Atlantic 10 schools, blanking Saint Joseph's, 7-0 on Friday and edging Temple, 4-3 on Saturday.

Mikhael Rasner and Gustavo Villares both went 4-0 in combined singles/doubles action to lead the Dukes. Villares won twice at second singles and second doubles to increase his career victory total to 101 while Rasner was perfect at fourth singles and third doubles. Bryan Roberts was the only other Duke to win twice at singles, doing so in the fifth position.

The Dukes return to action on Saturday, April 3 as they travel to Niagara for a 6:00 p.m. match.
