Duquesne's men's tennis team dropped to 2-3 on the season after a couple of hard-fought losses over the weekend. The Dukes lost at Toledo, 4-3 on Jan. 22 then fell at home to UMBC, 4-3 on Jan. 23.
At Toledo, the Dukes dropped all three doubles matches before Aram Abgaryan won at third singles, Bryan Roberts won at number five and Gustavo Villares won at number six.
Versus UMBC, DU took the doubles point by winning at number one and two. Winning at second singles was Mikhael Rasner and winning at fourth singles was Mark Maciuch.
The Red and Blue return to action on Friday, Jan. 29 when they host Wright State at 6:00 pm.
