Detroit Mercy / Michigan State

Duquesne's men's tennis team opened the spring portion of its schedule by defeating Detroit Mercy, 6-1 on Jan. 15 and falling to Michigan State, 5-2 on Jan. 16 in Michigan.

Junior Mikhael Rasner won both of his matches at second singles while senior Gustavo Villares went 2-0 at number six singles.

The Red and Blue return to action on Friday, Jan. 22 as they travel to Toledo for a 12:30 pm match, then will have their first home match of the season on Saturday, Jan. 23 as they host UMBC at 4:00 pm in Monroeville.
