Penn State Knocks Down Dukes, 7-0

University Park, Pa. - Duquesne's men's tennis team was shut out by nationally-ranked Penn State, 7-0, at PSU's Indoor Tennis Center on Wednesday.

The Nittany Lions (12-2), no. 47 in the latest poll, won their fourth straight and recorded their seventh shutout of the season. The Dukes are now 10-6.

Duquesne has three contests remaining on the regular season schedule. The Red and Blue head to Washington, D.C. for a 6:00 p.m. match with the Atlantic 10's George Washington on Saturday, March 24th and then take on the Richmond Spiders on Sunday, March 25, 2007, at 12:00 noon.

The Dukes' final home match is the following weekend, on Friday, March 30, 2007, at 6:00 p.m. against non-conference foe Cleveland State at Club 4 Life in Monroeville, Pa.

Duquesne hosts the three-day 2007 Atlantic 10 Conference Men's Tennis Championship Tournament beginning on Thursday, April 5th, also at Club 4 Life.
