DUQUESNE ENTRIES
ON THE ROAD
Duquesne will also have a group competing at the Dave Labor Invitational at Slippery Rock this weekend. A-10 HONORS
  • Duquesne has earned Atlantic 10 Rookie of the Week honors in back-to-back weeks, with Melani Schmidt following Sylvia Kashak. It marks just the second time in program history that two different Dukes have earned consecutive outdoor Rookie of the Week honors, joining Shea McMillan and Sarah Como (March 26 and April 3, 2001).
  • Schmidt swept the 200m and 400m at the Carnegie Mellon Invitational and ran on the second-place 4x100m relay. Her 400m time ranks as the fastest by an A-10 freshman this season and fourth overall.
  • Kashak earned her honor after winning the 800m and placing second in the 1500m at the season-opening 49er Classic, with both times ranking among the top five in program history.
LAST TIME OUT THIS SEASON IN THE RECORD BOOK
