BEFORE DUQUESNE
- Top-seeded javelin thrower in Pennsylvania as a senior (162-8) out of Blue Mountain High School
- Back-to-back top-10 finishes in javelin at the PA State Championships
- District XI champion and silver medalist in javelin
- Multiple-time Schuylkill League Champion
- Three-sport athlete, also competing in soccer and basketball
- Was active in Aevidum, SADD, International Club, Varsity Club, and mini-THON
- Earned academic honors in Phi Sigma, National, Math, Science, and English Honor Societies; recipient of the DAR Good Citizen Award
- Volunteered with Char-Will Kennels and youth basketball camps
