Pittsburgh, Pa. – Duquesne University head men's soccer coach Chase Brooks has announced that Alex Suprise has joined the coaching staff as an assistant coach.

"We're excited to have Alex join the staff at Duquesne due to his experience at the NCAA Division I level, both during his time in the Atlantic 10 Conference at St. Bonaventure as well as at Oregon State," Brooks said. "He brings with him a diverse skill set in coaching, player development, recruiting and performance analysis. Alex will be a great asset to our program and the University as a whole."

Suprise, a native of Milwaukee, Wisc., spent the 2025 season as an assistant coach at Oregon State, where he helped guide the Beavers to an overall record of 10-5-2 (.647), including a mark of 6-1-2 (.778) in the West Coast Conference (WCC). OSU finished second in the WCC standings and earned an at-large bid to the 2026 NCAA Championship, falling to eventual national champion Washington, 3-2, in overtime.

"I'm profoundly excited to join the Duquesne University coaching staff," Suprise said. "From the moment I connected with the coaching staff and learned more about the culture of the team as well as the University, I knew it was the right place for me. I'd like to thank Chase Brooks for the opportunity, and I'd also like to thank the Oregon State men's soccer program and Kwame Oduro for the opportunity to learn, develop and compete at the highest levels of college soccer. I'm really looking forward to assisting in the positive trajectory of Duquesne soccer."
