Full Recap & Results
  • Rose Kuchera posted historic weekend last time out to highlight a split-squad weekend for the Dukes, competing at both the YSU Mid-Major Invitational and Penn State National Open.
  • At YSU, Kuchera broke her own program long jump record by more than 17 inches with a 6.52-meter (21-4.75) mark. The jump also established a new YSU Mid-Major Invitational record, stands as the top leap in the Atlantic 10 this season and currently ranks sixth in NCAA Division I. Competing in the pentathlon for the first time in her career, Kuchera also entered Duquesne's all-time leaderboard with 3,694 points — the third-highest total in program history. She added an 8.79 in the 60-meter hurdles, the fourth-fastest time in school history.
  • Freshman Isabella Costa (5.90 meters / 19-4.25) and senior Eva Leatherman (5.89 meters / 19-4.0) also recorded top-five marks in the long jump, ranking third and fourth on Duquesne's all-time list, respectively.
