Pittsburgh, Pa. – Five home games inside UPMC Cooper Fieldhouse, a two-game road trip out East and the annual City Game highlight the non-conference schedule for the Duquesne University women's basketball team, announced Tuesday.
The Dukes will tip off their 42nd season of NCAA Division I basketball and their 13
th season under head coach
Dan Burt on Monday, Nov. 3, when they host Saint Francis at UPMC Cooper Fieldhouse. Duquesne holds a commanding 31-6 (.837) all-time record against the Red Flash in a series that dates back to 1974. The Dukes have won 13 straight matchups and boast a 17-2 record at home against Saint Francis.
Following the season opener, the Dukes will host Slippery Rock on Thursday, Nov. 6 before hitting the road for the first time this season on Sunday, Nov. 9, when they travel to Kalamazoo, Mich., for their first-ever matchup against Western Michigan. Duquesne returns to UPMC Cooper Fieldhouse to face West Liberty on Tuesday, Nov. 11, then makes the short trip up I-376 to take on Robert Morris on Tuesday, Nov. 18. The Dukes and Colonials will meet for the 47th time in the all-time series and for the first time in Moon Township since the 2014-15 season. Duquesne holds a 33-13 (.717) advantage in the series and has won six straight against RMU.

Duquesne returns back to the Bluff when it hosts Kent State (Nov. 24) before heading East to Annapolis, Md., to compete in the Navy Classic on Saturday, Nov. 29, and Sunday, Nov. 30. The event will feature matchups against Navy, Liberty, and Manhattan, with specific pairings to be announced at a later date.
The Dukes open the month of December with back-to-back road games, visiting Eastern Michigan on Dec. 9 before heading to Stony Brook on Dec. 14. Duquesne will then wrap up non-conference play with the annual City Game, hosting Pitt at UPMC Cooper Fieldhouse on Sunday, Dec. 21. The Panthers lead the all-time series 23-19, but the Dukes have claimed victory in the last two meetings, including a 73-69 win at the Petersen Events Center last season.
The Atlantic 10, which is celebrating its 50th season in 2025-26, released
conference pairings last month, with the Dukes facing Dayton, VCU, Saint Louis, Saint Joseph's, and St. Bonaventure twice during the league slate. A full Atlantic 10 schedule will be announced at a later date.
