Pittsburgh, Pa. - With the Atlantic 10 Conference schedule pairings announced Thursday, the Duquesne women's basketball team will face Dayton, Loyola Chicago, Richmond, St. Bonaventure and VCU in home-and-home series during the 2026-27 season.
This coming season will mark the third consecutive year Duquesne and VCU have met twice during the regular season, while the Dukes and Flyers are set to continue their renewed home-and-home series for a second straight year after resuming the matchup last season.
Duquesne and Richmond will meet twice during the regular season for the first time since the 2021-22 campaign. The Dukes will also renew a familiar series with Loyola Chicago, as the two programs are slated to face each other twice in the regular season for the first time since 1993, when both were members of the Midwestern Collegiate Conference (MCC).
One of the Atlantic 10's most enduring rivalries, Duquesne and St. Bonaventure will meet in a home-and-home series for the 13th consecutive season. The longtime conference foes have squared off 73 times since their first meeting on Nov. 21, 1981, with the Dukes winning eight of the last 10 matchups entering the 2026-27 campaign. Duquesne holds a 50-23 advantage in the all-time series, including an impressive 29-6 record on the Bluff.
In addition to its home-and-home opponents, Duquesne will host Davidson, Saint Joseph's, Fordham, and Rhode Island during Atlantic 10 play, while making road trips to Saint Louis, George Mason, George Washington, and La Salle.
All 14 teams will participate in the 2027 Atlantic 10 Championships in Henrico, Va. at the Henrico Sports & Events Center. Deposits forÂ
