Atlantic 10 Sets 2025-26 Conference Pairings

Dukes to face Dayton, VCU, Saint Louis, Saint Joseph's, St. Bonaventure twice in 2025-26

Pittsburgh, Pa. – The Atlantic 10 Conference announced its women's basketball schedule pairings for the 2025-26 season on Tuesday. Duquesne is set to play an even slate of nine home games and nine road matchups during the upcoming campaign.

The Dukes will play home-and-home series against Dayton, VCU, Saint Louis, Saint Joseph's, and St. Bonaventure during the 2025-26 season. This marks the 12th consecutive year that Duquesne and St. Bonaventure will meet twice in the regular season, with the Dukes currently riding an eight-game winning streak against the Bonnies.

The 2025-26 season will mark the second straight year that Duquesne and VCU square off twice in regular season play, while the Dukes and Flyers will renew their home-and-home series for the first time since the 2022-23 campaign. Duquesne and Saint Louis are set to meet twice for the first time since 2006, while the Dukes will also take on Saint Joseph's in a pair of matchups for the first time since the 2023-24 season.

As part of their 2025-26 A-10 slate, Duquesne will host Loyola Chicago, George Mason, George Washington, and La Salle at UPMC Cooper Fieldhouse while traveling to Richmond, Davidson, Fordham, and Rhode Island.

All 14 teams will participate in the 2026 Atlantic 10 Championships in Henrico, Va. at the Henrico Sports & Events Center. The complete 2025-26 A-10 conference schedule with dates and times, as well as national television information, will be announced at a later date.

Led by head coach Dan Burt, who enters his 13th season at the helm, Duquesne returns eight letterwinners from the 2024-25 squad that finished with a 21-13 (.618) overall record and a 9-9 (.500) mark in Atlantic 10 play. The Dukes advanced to the quarterfinals of the A-10 Championship and earned a berth in the Super 16 of the Women's National Invitation Tournament (WNIT) for the second consecutive season.

Among the returners are five sophomores and three juniors, including standout sophomore guards Mackenzie Blackford, Nadia Moore, and Faith Walker. Blackford appeared in 33 games with two starts, averaging 8.2 points per game while shooting .425 percent from the field. She connected on 70 three-pointers, the second-most on the team and fifth in the Atlantic 10, while ranking second in the conference in three-point field goal percentage (.387 percent). Moore added 5.0 points and 2.3 rebounds per game in 31 appearances, including eight starts, while shooting .356 percent from beyond the arc. Walker also played in 33 games, making three starts, and established herself as the Dukes' primary defender at the top of the press, often tasked with guarding the opponent's top scorer
