Pittsburgh, Pa. – The Atlantic 10 Conference announced its 2027 women's basketball conference schedule Tuesday,
completing the 2026-27 slate for the Duquesne women's basketball team.
The Dukes will tip off their conference schedule on the road for the second consecutive season, traveling to Washington, D.C., to battle George Washington on Wednesday, Dec. 2. The matchup will mark the 79th meeting between the two programs, making it one of Duquesne's longest-tenured series. The Dukes have won three of the last four meetings against the Revolutionaries.
The matchup with George Washington will mark Duquesne's first road contest in more than a month, as the Dukes' previous five games will all be played at UPMC Cooper Fieldhouse. Duquesne will remain on the road to close out the calendar year, traveling to Richmond on Wednesday, Dec. 30, before returning home in the new year to host VCU on Saturday, Jan. 2, 2027.
Duquesne will travel to Loyola Chicago (Jan. 6) before returning to Pittsburgh for a pair of home games against Fordham (Jan. 9) and Saint Joseph's (Jan. 13). The Dukes then head to Saint Louis on Saturday, Jan. 16, before returning to UPMC Cooper Fieldhouse for back-to-back home games against Richmond (Jan. 20) and St. Bonaventure (Jan. 24). The matchup with the Bonnies is scheduled for an 11:00 a.m. tip and will be streamed nationally on CBSSN.
The Dukes will play three of their next four games on the road, traveling to George Mason (Jan. 27), La Salle (Feb. 2) and VCU (Feb. 6), while hosting Dayton on the Bluff to close out the month of January. Duquesne returns home for a pair of games against Davidson (Feb. 10) and Rhode Island (Feb. 13) before enjoying a bye week.
Following the break, the Dukes return to the road for a pair of matchups, traveling to Dayton (Feb. 20) and St. Bonaventure (Feb. 24) for their second meetings with the Flyers and Bonnies. Duquesne will close out the regular season at home, hosting Loyola Chicago on Saturday, Feb. 27.
The 2027 Atlantic 10 Championship is scheduled for March 3-7 at the Henrico Sports & Events Center in Henrico, Va. It will mark the fourth consecutive year the tournament has been held at the venue, which first hosted the event in 2024.
The Dukes will tip off their 43rd season of NCAA Division I basketball and their 14th season under head coach
Dan Burt on Monday, Nov. 2, when they travel to Knoxville to take on the Lady Vols of Tennessee inside the Food City Center. The matchup will mark the first meeting between the two programs. A total of nine home games at UPMC Cooper Fieldhouse, two trips to Ohio and the annual City Game highlight Duquesne's non-conference slate.
