Pittsburgh, Pa. – A trip to Knoxville, Tennessee, nine home games inside UPMC Cooper Fieldhouse, two trips to Ohio and the annual City Game highlight the non-conference schedule for the Duquesne women's basketball team, announced Wednesday.
The Dukes will tip off their 43rd season of NCAA Division I basketball and their 14th season under head coach
Dan Burt on Monday, Nov. 2, when they travel to Knoxville to take on the Lady Vols of Tennessee inside the Food City Center. It will mark the first meeting between the two programs.
Following the season opener, Duquesne will host Clarion in its first action inside UPMC Cooper Fieldhouse on Sunday, Nov. 8, before welcoming Marist on Wednesday, Nov. 11. The matchup with Clarion will mark the 10th meeting between the Dukes and Golden Eagles and the first since 1985. Duquesne holds a 7-2 (.777) advantage in the all-time series and has won the last four meetings. The Dukes will meet Marist for the first time in program history.
Duquesne will hit the road for the second time on Saturday, Nov. 14, traveling to Kent State before beginning a five-game homestand. The Dukes will welcome local rival Robert Morris on Monday, Nov. 16, for the 48th meeting between the programs. Duquesne holds a 33-14 (.702) advantage in the all-time series. The homestand will continue with Stony Brook visiting the Bluff on Saturday, Nov. 21, followed by Canisius (Nov. 23), Niagara (Nov. 24), and West Liberty (Nov. 29).

Duquesne will begin the month of December on the road, traveling to Buffalo on Sunday, Dec. 6, before returning to Pittsburgh for a pair of home games. The Dukes will welcome Eastern Michigan on Wednesday, Dec. 9, before hosting Western Michigan on Sunday, Dec. 13.
Duquesne will close out its non-conference slate with a pair of road contests, traveling to Akron on Thursday, Dec. 17, before making the short trip across town to face Pitt on Sunday, Dec. 20. The Panthers hold a 23-20 advantage in the all-time series, but the Dukes have won the last three meetings, including an 84-69 victory on the Bluff.
The Atlantic 10 released its
conference pairings in June, with Duquesne set to face Dayton, Loyola Chicago, Richmond, St. Bonaventure and VCU twice during the 2026-27 season. The full Atlantic 10 schedule will be announced at a later date.
