    • Her six caused turnovers are tied for the most by an A-10 player in a game this season.
  • Corinne Webb earned A-10 Offensive Player of the Week (Feb. 19) after back-to-back four-goal games, including the game-winner at Youngstown State.
  • Mia Piocquidio was named the A-10 Rookie of the Week (Feb. 10) after scoring two goals in her collegiate debut—a 12-11 overtime win at Akron.
OUR COACH
  • Duquesne is led by first-year head coach Tracy Coyne, who ranks seventh among active Division I coaches with 327 career wins in her 36th season overall.
  • A Pittsburgh native, Coyne previously spent five seasons at Saint Francis (Pa.), becoming the program's all-time wins leader and guiding the Red Flash to their first two NEC Tournament appearances.
  • Coyne also served as head coach at George Washington from 2015–19.
  • She spent 15 years as the founding head coach at Notre Dame, where she led the Irish to six NCAA Tournament appearances, including a 2006 national semifinal, and a 2009 Big East title.

SCOUTING THE SPIDERS

  • Richmond enters the weekend 8-6 overall and 6-2 in Atlantic 10 play.
  • The Spiders defeated George Washington, 16-5, on the road Wednesday, bouncing back from a 19-10 loss at UMass last Saturday.
  • After starting A-10 play 1-1 with a 20-4 win over George Mason and a 14-11 loss at Davidson, Richmond won four straight over La Salle, St. Bonaventure, VCU and Rhode Island.
  • The Spiders have clinched a spot in the A-10 Championship Tournament. They won the tournament title in 2024, earning a bid to the NCAA Tournament.
  • Richmond faced four ranked teams in non-conference play, including a 12-10 season-opening win at No. 19 Penn State.
  • By The Numbers: The Spiders lead the A-10 in clearing percentage (.913) and rank top-three in the league in seven statistical categories:
    • 2nd – Assists per game (7.43), 2nd – Points per game (20.43), 3rd – Scoring defense (10.79 goals allowed per game), 3rd – Save percentage (.468), 3rd – Shots on goal per game (21.71), 3rd – Turnovers per game (13.43)
    • Colleen Quinn leads the A-10 with 64 points (44 goals, 20 assists) and holds the league's top free-position percentage at 60.0%.
  • Last Game: Quinn recorded six points (3G, 3A) in a 16-5 win over GW. The Spiders rattled off an 8-0 run after an early 2-1 lead to secure the double-digit victory.

RECORD BOOK WATCH

  • Hanna Pawela
    • Leads all active Division I players with 151 career caused turnovers — nine more than any other player.
      • Ranks second all-time at Duquesne in caused turnovers; the program record is 178, set by Megan Hungate (1998–01).
    • Fifth all-time at Duquesne in ground balls with 163.
      • Four behind Stacie Pollock (167) in fourth ... Kristin Harner (170) is third, Katie Harner (182) is second, and the all-time record is 180 held by Sarah Pacini (2005–08).
      • Her 163 career ground balls also rank fourth among active Division I players.
  • Mackenzie Leszczynski
    • Just the second Duke to record 200+ career draw controls, now with 207. She trails only Maddie Hart (252, 2017–20).
    • One of six players in program history to rank in the top 10 for both career goals and assists:
      • Her 136 goals rank eighth all-time, just three behind Ashley Wood (2005–09) and Clare Hurley (2012–15), who are tied for sixth.
      • Her 49 assists are ninth; Amanda Kidder (2012–15) and Laura Mincher (2000–03) are tied for seventh with 51.
    • Leszczynski is one of just three Dukes to rank in the top 10 for career goals without appearing in the top 10 for shots attempted — a testament to her .477 career shot percentage.
