Washington, D.C. – The Duquesne University lacrosse team fell 19–8 to George Washington on Saturday afternoon in its final road game of the 2026 season.
Chloe Holmes led the Dukes with a season-high three goals, completing a first-half hat trick.
Gracin Emerson recorded assists No. 60 and 61 of the season, extending her single-season program record, and added a goal to score in her third consecutive game.
Megan Marco tallied two goals to extend her scoring streak to nine games.
Addison Scanlon and
Abigail Krogmann each scored once, while
Chelsea Evans recorded an assist on Duquesne's opening goal by Marco.
After winning the opening draw and converting on its first possession, Duquesne surrendered five straight goals and was unable to recover, as the Revolutionaries maintained a lead of at least three the rest of the way.
Madison Welch recorded nine draw controls to bring her season total to 94, as both teams finished with 14.
Ella Roach made nine saves in goal.

Duquesne hosts nationally ranked Richmond next Saturday in its regular-season finale at 1 p.m. at Rooney Field.
