Fort Collins, Co. - The Duquesne University women's basketball team earned a spot in the postseason, capturing an at-large selection into the 2024 Women's National Invitation Tournament (WNIT).
The 48-team WNIT field consists of 11 automatic qualifiers and 37 at-large selections, determined by tournament officials based on a range of criteria. This year marks the 27th edition of the postseason tournament.

For the 11th time in program history and the second consecutive season, the Dukes will compete in the WNIT. Under head coach
Dan Burt, Duquesne has earned a spot in the tournament six times. The Dukes, who fell to top-seeded Richmond (63-58) in the quarterfinals of the conference tournament, have posted a 19-12 overall record this season, including a 9-9 mark in Atlantic 10 play.
Duquesne is just one of two teams from the Atlantic 10 conference to earn a spot in the tournament as Massachusetts is the other.
