TYRONE, Pa. – Junior
Maggie Danzer raced to a first-place finish to lead the Duquesne cross country teams at the Saint Francis Red Flash Rally on Saturday.
Sam de la Riva paced the men in fourth.

Danzer crossed the line 15 seconds ahead of second place with a 15:05.7. Freshman
Ava Brewster took third with a 15:37.00.
Lily Colombo (16:16.90 - 7th place),
Delaney Line (16:20.40 - 10th place) and
Cydney Blahovec (16:31.50 - 13th place) completed the scoring for the first-place Dukes.
First years
Jacob Bonnar (20:22.80 - 6th place) and
Sam Freedman (20:34.40 - 9th place) joined de la Riva in the top 10 of the men's race, while fellow freshmen
Ethan Warner (20:56.30) and
Josh Wagner (21:21.20) rounded out the scorers in 13th and 15th.
The Duquesne women won the meet with 29 points, while the men placed third with 45 points.

Duquesne finishes the 2024 campaign with a run at the NCAA Mid-Atlantic Regional Championship on Friday (Nov. 15) at Penn State.
