THE DUKES LATELY
Duquesne sent a small contingent to the Carnegie Mellon Invitational last weekend, led by

Ben Shields led the men with a 16th-place finish in the Brown Division, while freshman
Sylvia Kashak paced the women, finishing 77th in the Brown Race. Shields and
Nathaniel Woshner have been 1-2 for the Dukes on the men's side in all three races this season. The women's leader has changed in each meet: Bolla won at Saint Francis, first-year
Lauren Ciuca led at RMU, and Kashak paced at Lehigh. Senior
Gina Bolla has competed in three races this season, twice when Duquesne did not score as a team, and has two meet victories and a third-place finish.
