Clinton, Pa. – The Duquesne University cross country teams competed at the Carnegie Mellon Invitational on Saturday, with freshman
Andrew Peigh leading the men's squad and senior
Emma Andreen pacing the women's team.
Peigh led the Dukes in the men's 8K, finishing 107th overall in 27:22.8. Sophomore
Isaak Nizami followed in 111th at 27:33.7, while senior
Maxwell Hamilton placed 113th in 27:35.5. Sophomore
Kyle Kochanski finished 131st in 27:57.4, and sophomore
Cleveland Wall rounded out the Dukes in 148th at 28:19.2. Duquesne finished 17th among 30 teams.
Andreen placed 56th overall in the women's 5K race with a 19:24.7. Senior
Reagan Ryen finished 152nd in 21:03.8, while junior
Lily Colombo placed 228th in 24:20.4.
