Pittsburgh, Pa. – Former Duquesne University guard Dae Dae Grant has signed a professional contract with KK Feniks 2010 Skopje of the First League North Macedonia.

Grant, a native of Lorain, Ohio, is the sixth member of the Dukes to ink a pro contract in the last four months. He joins former forwards Tre Williams (QSTA United), Andrei Savrasov (BC Irkut Irkutsk) and Dusan Mahorcic (Enosis Neon Paralimni) as well as former guards Tevin Brewer (Kipinä Äänekoski) and Jimmy Clark III (Bnei Herzliya Basket) in signing professional deal.

Grant led Duquesne in scoring in his final season on the Bluff in 2023-24, providing an average of 16.4 points per game en route to earning 2024 All-Atlantic 10 Second Team honors. He led the Atlantic 10 and ranked third in NCAA Division I in free-throw percentage, knocking down 146 of his 155 (94.2%) opportunities. Twice during the season Grant established a new program standard for consecutive free throws made, finishing with 43 straight during the non-conference portion of the season before breaking his own record with 46 consecutive later in the year.

Saving some of the best basketball of his career at Duquesne for last, Grant was named the 2024 Atlantic 10 Championship Most Outstanding Player after averaging 16.3 points, 2.3 rebounds, 3.5 assists and 1.8 steals in helping guide the Dukes to four wins in five days in Brooklyn, N.Y., at the Barclays Center. It helped Duquesne earn the 2024 Atlantic 10 Championship and the program's first automatic berth in the NCAA Championship since 1977.

Grant established both single-season and career records for free-throw percentage in his time with the Dukes. In addition to finishing third in the country in setting the single-season mark during the 2023-24 campaign, Grant knocked down 91.4 percent (235-for-257) of his attempts at the chalk in two years on the Bluff to set a career mark at Duquesne.

During the 2023-24 season, Grant eclipsed the 2,000-point plateau for his career as well as became the 40th member of the Duquesne 1,000-Point Club. He concluded his career with 2,241 points in five seasons, three of which came at Miami (Ohio) prior to transferring, including 1,070 in two years with the Dukes. He ranks 35th all-time in program history in scoring. A key reason Grant put forth the lofty numbers was his ability to connect from beyond the arc. In two seasons on the Bluff, Grant drained 177 three-pointers, which ranks seventh all-time at Duquesne.

In addition to being the sixth former member of the Dukes to sign a pro contract in the last four months, Grant is the 18th student-athlete to join the pro ranks who played for former head coach Keith Dambrot at Duquesne.

The Dukes are led by head coach Dru Joyce III, who is in his first year leading the program in 2024-25. Duquesne returns a pair of starters from a 2023-24 team that finished with an overall record of 25-12 (.676), earning its first Atlantic 10 Championship since 1977 and its first win in the NCAA Tournament since 1969. The Dukes open their 2024-25 season and the Joyce III era Monday, Nov. 4, with an 8:00 p.m. tip against Lipscomb at the UPMC Cooper Fieldhouse.
