PITTSBURGH - The Duquesne University triathlon team is set to host its first-ever race on Saturday at Brady's Run Park. The Dukes will be competing for just the second time in program history after finishing runner-up in their inaugural race last weekend in North Carolina.

Duquesne is coming off its first-ever meet as a program, at the Ridgewood Try a Tri for Hospice hosted by Greensboro College.Â

Robyn Hunt led the Dukes finishing in fifth place overall and DU took each of the next four spots. Paige Black placed 6th, Jet Francis came in 7th, Bella Schaller took 8th, and Alaina Hicks was 9th to round out the top-five Duquesne athletes.

The Dukes totaled 80 points as a team to finish runners-up. Queens University of Charlotte won the race with 95 points, Guilford College was third with 11 points and the hosts Greensboro were fourth with two points.Â

Last week's course featured a 200m swim, 10-mile bike ride, and two-mile run. Â
