CLINTON, PA -- Duquesne men's and women's cross country teams competed in the RMU Invite, on Saturday, as a part of the split-squad weekend for the teams.
For the men, sophomore Sam De La Riva finished 73rd with a 27:39.3 time in the 8-kilometer race. Behind him were sophomore Holden Eagle, who finished 76th, Jadon Rahman, who finished 82nd, and freshman Joseph Wigginton, all of whom finished the race in under 29 minutes.
For the women, junior Maggie Danzer finished 29th with a 19:28.2 time in the 5-kilometer race. Behind her were freshman Emma Andreen, who finished 41st, junior Delaney Line in 45th, and freshman Cydney Blahovec in 46th. The Dukes came in sixth place in the team portion.
Duquesne men's and women's cross country will be back in action for the Paul Short Invitational, on Sept. 29th, in Bethlehem, PA, hosted by Lehigh University.
