BOWLING GREEN, Ohio - The Duquesne University men's and women's cross country teams both took fourth place at the Falcon Invitational.
Zack Toth ran a personal-best 24:56.3 for a fourth-place individual finish to lead the Dukes.
Casey Padgett also turned in a PR with a top-10 finish crossing the line in 25:11.8 in ninth. Freshman
Cameron Bogdan charted a 26:28.5 in his first 8k to take 44th, while
Nick Fetzer (26:36.8) and
Nathaniel Woshner (26:37.0) crossed the line in 47th and 48th to round out all five scorers in the top half of the race.
The women had all five scorers record personal bests and finish in the top 26 of the 117 runner field in the 6000m race.
Haley Hamilton paced the Dukes with a 21:34.8 in sixth place and was just a second out of the top-five. Hamilton has now led the DU squad in all four races she has competed in this fall.
Brooke Krally (22:10.8) and
Ryley Schwalm (22:11.4) crossed the line less than a second apart in 15th and 16th, then
Liv Wilson (22:21.8) and
Kate Saum (22:27.6)Â rounded out the scorers.
UP NEXT
After three straight weeks of competing, the Dukes will be off next week as they finish up preparations for the Atlantic 10 Championship on October 28 in Cedarville, Ohio.
