- The Dukes and Colonials will meet for the 72nd time - Duquesne's most-common opponent all-time.
- GW has dominated the series, winning 56 times, which includes 24 wins when playing the Dukes in Pittsburgh.
- The Colonials have won each of the past three meetings with the Dukes, including a 63-45 win in their lone meeting last season.
- The last time Duquesne defeated George Washington was a 64-53 victory on Feb. 27, 2019.
- Head Coach Dan Burt has never defeated GW in Pittsburgh in five attempts.

- George Washington used a big third quarter to pull away and deal the Dukes a 63-45 loss.
- GW out-scored Duquesne 19-5 in the third quarter and limited the Dukes to just 14 second half points.
- Libby Bazelak, who was making her season-debut at the time, led the Dukes with 11 points and five rebounds.
- Diamond Bragg posted 10 points in the setback.
- Maddie Loder (15 points) and Ali Brigham (13 points) combined for 28 points to lead GW.
- Duquesne was playing for the first time in 25 days following a long layoff due to COVID-19 protocols.

- The Colonials are in the midst of an eight-game losing streak and have not won a conference game this season.
- GW has lost a trio of one-possession games during their current skid, including each of the past two games.
- The Colonials rank second in the A-10 and 38th in Division I in scoring defense, allowing just 56.7 points per game.
- GW is one of only two teams in Division I that are ranked among the top-40 in scoring defense and have a losing record (UNC Greensboro).
- The Colonials slot fourth in the A-10 in steals per game (7.7).
- Sheslanie Laureano is one of two players leading the team with 8.1 ppg.
- She is coming off of 15-point, eight-rebound performance in the team's 56-53 loss at VCU this past Sunday.
- Laureano poured in 13 of her 15 points in the second half.
- Leading rebounder Mayowa Taiwo was just shy of a double-double with eight points and 10 rebounds.
- She helped the Colonials hold a 42 to 35 edge on the glass against VCU.
- Taiwo ranks sixth in the A-10 with 7.8 per game.

- The Dukes were held scoreless over the final five minutes of their 59-52 loss to Fordham.
- The Rams scored the final 11 points, including a trey in the final minute of a two-point game.
- Fatou Pouye led Duquesne with 21 points, while Libby Bazelak chipped in 11.
- The Dukes shot 21 of 44 (47 percent) from the field, but attempted 23 less shots than the Rams.
- Fordham was 23 of 67 (34 percent) and enjoyed the benefit of 16 offensive rebounds.

OVERDUE FOR A BREAKOUT
- Fatou Pouye led the Dukes with 21 points on 10 of 18 shooting in their loss to Fordham.
- It was her fifth-career 20-point game and her third this season as a Duke. She had a pair of 20-point games at Western Kentucky.
- Pouye, who leads the team and ranks 15th in the A-10 with 12.7 ppg., was averaging just 8.2 ppg. over the previous five games and scored in double figures just once during that span.
