Box Score MOUNT PLEASANT, S.C. – One dual match after becoming the program's all-time singles wins leader, Duquesne senior Jared Isaacs surpassed Alec Aleman as the Dukes' all-time program total wins leader with a 6-1 doubles win over Charleston on Friday at The College of Charleston Tennis Center at Patriot's Point.
The Dukes (3-8) dropped the dual match by a score of 4-1 to the Cougars (6-5) to close out the spring break trip.
Isaacs now has 77 singles wins and 70 doubles wins for 147 career victories as a Duke. He looks to become the all-time doubles wins leader with six more victories this season, to pass Aleman's 75 doubles wins.
Jared joins his older sister, Kylie Isaacs, who is Duquesne's all-time women's career wins leader with 188 career victories from 2015-2018.
Alex Mascioli earned a singles win at #1 single, while Isaacs and Dominic Lea earned a 6-1 doubles victory for the Dukes.
The Dukes return to Alpha Tennis and Fitness on Tuesday to battle Saint Joseph's at 10:00 a.m.
