LEESBURG, Va. - The Duquesne men's cross country team competed at the 2019 George Mason Invitational on Friday evening, posting a fifth-place finish in the Dukes' second meet of the season. Duquesne recorded a score of 139 on the same course which will host the 2019 Atlantic 10 Championship on Nov. 2.
Saint Joseph's won the event with a score of 35 followed by Richmond second (44) and George Mason third (76).
Sam Snodgrass (Bridgeville, Pa. / South Fayette) paced the Dukes on the 8K course with a 10th-place mark of 26:12.8 just in front of
Casey Conboy (Pittsburgh, Pa. / Baldwin) in 11th at 26:15.6.
Duquesne is back in action tomorrow at the Saint Vincent Invitational in Latrobe, Pa. before competing in the Paul Short Invitational at Lehigh on Saturday, Oct. 5Â in Bethlehem, Pa.
