DU Cross Country/Track & Field Announces 2019-20 Signees

PITTSBURGH - Duquesne cross country/track & field head coach Jim Lear recently announced the Dukes' recruiting class for the 2019-20 season. Duquesne will welcome 15 new cross country/track & field team members to The Bluff.

Meet the Dukes' 2019-20 recruiting class below: 


Women's Cross Country/Track & Field

Addison Ciecierski
Cleveland Heights, Ohio / Beaumont 
Distance/XC
  • Finished second at 2019 Division II Northeast Ohio Regional Cross Country Championship
  • Placed 11th at 2017 Division II Ohio Cross Country Championship
  • Registered 12th-place showing at 2018 Division II Ohio Cross Country Championship, 20th in 2018
Anna Baxter
Butler, Pa. / Butler
Hurdles
  • Finished fourth in 300m hurdles at 2019 WPIAL AAA Championship
  • Her time of 45.44 in 300H ranked 24th in PA in 2019
Teja Brown
Sparta, N.J. / Pope John XXIII
Jumps
  • Finished fourth in 2019 NJSIAA Group 2, 3 and NPA triple jump 
  • Placed seventh in 2019 NJSIAA Group 2, 3 and NPA long jump
