BETHLEHEM, Pa. - Sam Snodgrass (Bridgeville, Pa. / South Fayette) recorded a third-place finish to pace the Duquesne men's cross country team to a sixth-place mark in the Brown 8k race of the 46th-annual Paul Short Run presented by ASICS and hosted by Lehigh University on Saturday at the Goodman Campus Cross Country Course.
The Dukes registered a score of 348 while New Hampshire claimed the title with a score of 114. Duquesne bested fellow Atlantic 10 members George Washington (13th) and VCU (23rd) at the race.
Snodgrass toured the 8k course in 24:45.4 for bronze at the event.
Casey Conboy (Pittsburgh, Pa. / Baldwin) was the next Duquesne runner to cross the finish line, posting a 15th-place mark of 25:03.5 for the Dukes.
