PITTSBURGH - The Duquesne men's cross country team recorded a sixth-place mark at the 2019 Carnegie Mellon Invitational on Saturday morning in Schenley Park. The Dukes posted a score of 121 points at the event.
The host Tartans won the race with a score of 37 points followed by Denison second with 83 points and California (Pa.) third with 97 points.
Mark Brown (Greensburg, Pa. / Greensburg Salem) paced Duquesne with a sixth-place finish, touring the course in 26:27.56.
Matt O'Neill (North Huntington, Pa. / Norwin) was the next Duke to cross the finish line with a mark of 26:54.69 on the day.
