Dukes, Knight battle for the first time on Wednesday at 7

Coming off a month-long, four game roadtrip, Duquesne returns home for the first time in 30 days on Wednesday night when they host UCF at 7pm.
 
OPENING TIPOFF
  • Duquesne hosts UCF on Wednesday at 7pm
  • This is the first meeting between the two schools
  • The game will be streamed on ESPN+ with Alex Panormios and Tad Maurey on the call

SCOUTING UCF
  • UCF is a member of the American Athletic Conference
  • UCF is located in Orlando, Fla., 13 miles east of downtown
  • Coming off a 71-60 win at Delaware led by Kay Kay Wright 24 points
  • This is the first time the teams have met
  • The Knights are 7-1 under third year head coach Katie Abrahamson-Henderson 
  • Abrahamson-Henderson joined UCF after six years at Albany where she took he Great Danes to five NCAA tournaments
  • UCF's only setback was a 75-68 loss at Central Michigan on Nov. 21
  • The Knights lead the AAC 3-point field goal percentage (.423) and defensive rebounding (29.5)
  • Wright is just one of three AAC players to score 30 points this season (31 at Central Michigan)

  • Amanda Kalin was named to the A-10 Weekly Honor Roll after scoring a career-high 15 points at PSU
  • Paige Cannon had a double-double of 10 points and 12 rebounds at PSU
  • The win was the fifth straight season the Dukes defeated a Power 5 school
  • The Dukes have the longest current winning streak in the A-10
  • Kalin is fifth in the A-10 with a .525 shooting percentage
  • Nina Aho is second in the A-10 with a .455 3-point shooting percentage
  • Duquesne's 93 points at Saint Francis U is the second most in the A-10 this season (St. Bonaventure 100 v. Canisius)
  • Chassidy Omogrosso's 17 free throw attempts and 12 makes at Kent State are the most in the league this season
  • This is the Dukes first home game in 30 days – the longest stretch since exactly eight years ago 11/12/10 to 12/12/10
  • Duquesne is 243-154 all-time at the Palumbo Center
