PITTSBURGH - The Duquesne men's cross country team earned a second-place mark at the Carnegie Mellon Hampton Inn Pittsburgh – University/Medical Center Invitational on Saturday morning in Schenley Park. The Dukes tallied a score of 79 paced by a fifth-place mark by
Zack Weland (Ramsey, N.J./Don Bosco Prep).
Carnegie Mellon won the event with a score of 20 while Point Park placed third at 96.
Weland crossed the finish line in 26:30.7 to lead Duquesne followed by
Noah Ball (Lancaster, Ohio/Lancaster) in 14th with a time of 27:38.5 and
Matt O'Neill (North Huntingdon, Pa./Norwin) in 15th at 27:44.0.
