NEWPORT NEWS, Va. - The Atlantic 10 announced its 2018 Men's and Women's Cross Country All-Rookie Teams on Tuesday morning, with Duquesne freshman Sam Snodgrass (Bridgeville, Pa./South Fayette) garnering the award for the Dukes.

The All-Rookie teams consist of the top seven men's and women's freshman finishers at this past weekend's A-10 Cross Country Championships in Mechanicsville, Va.

Snodgrass finished sixth among rookies, crossing the line 47th with a time of 25:52.5.

The Dukes are slated to close out the season at the NCAA Mid-Atlantic Regional in State College, Pa. on Friday, Nov. 9.
